Major Earth and Consciousness Shifts

Major Earth and Consciousness Shifts
Rev. Kat Carroll Sept. 11, 2026
About a 10 min read

No one can deny that major changes are taking place on our planet. From earthquakes, the reactivation of old volcanoes and major shifts in weather patterns to changes in how we think. Even the flow within Earth's molten outer core has changed direction!

There are geopolitical and exopolitical changes as governments shift, and our attention is increasingly drawn to space, UFO/UAPs and an extraterrestrial presence.
Changes are taking place under our feet, above us, and within us.

This may all be part of a very long cycle. I've written about the precession of the equinoxes and how this long cycle is represented in ancient European traditions, indigenous cultures such as Native American and Mayan traditions, and the Hindu Yuga cycles.

What’s occurring is forcing us to look deeper into who we are, where we may have been long ago, and whether we are returning to a time when we were far more advanced—not necessarily technologically, but consciously.

Jorge Pabon (JP) was talking with Dr. Michael Salla about alien races wanted to come forward, and also about telepathic abilities coming online. This could cause a major shift in how we work together if we begin to know what others are thinking. And there may be certain factions in society that don't want these higher-consciousness abilities coming online. It could mean a fundamental shift—and potential loss—of power.

Another fascinating example can be found in The Telepathy Tapes, which explores reported telepathic and other unusual communication abilities among nonspeaking autistic children. Their families, teachers and researchers describe experiences suggesting that the children in the study are communicating and perceiving information in ways we don't yet fully understand.

If these abilities are already present in some people, perhaps the question isn't simply whether humanity is developing something new, but reactivating dormant abilities that have always been part of us.

So much of our history has been forgotten due to the length of these cycles. Yet we left ourselves major breadcrumbs in the ancient sites around the world. They seem to direct our attention back to the stars. Old questions resurface:

Where have we been?
Where did we come from?
Where are we going collectively, as a species?
Are we reintegrating our fragmented energies?
Are we returning to unity and the understanding that we are all connected?
How can each of us help bring about this shift in consciousness?

And once again, ancient peoples told us how important the heart was—that love is always the answer and the energy in motion (e-motion) that helps us move upward. Through the heart we experience forgiveness, compassion, gratitude and love. Perhaps the heart really is the bridge between our physical experience and our higher states of consciousness.

If we don't work together, we could experience that bifurcation—the “two Earths” that even Dolores Cannon talked about years ago. Not two literal Earths, but a world increasingly divided. We may already be witnessing signs of that division in the fracturing of long-established institutions and political alliances, including the recent election in Germany.

Converging Cycles

Gregg Braden has written and talked about cycles—astronomical cycles, climate cycles, economic cycles, political cycles and cycles of human conflict. What feels different now is how many of them appear to be converging at once, and how quickly events are moving. The days fly by as new information comes forward. It can be quite dizzying!

We are witnessing wars and geopolitical realignment, challenges to long-established political institutions, disruptions of global trade and energy markets, rapid technological change through artificial intelligence, and growing social polarization. At the same time, the Earth itself is anything but static. Major earthquakes, destructive floods, unusual weather events and continuing volcanic activity have provided dramatic reminders of just how dynamic our planet can be.

Perhaps that is why periods such as this can feel overwhelming. We tend to examine each event separately: an election here, a war there, an earthquake, an unusual weather event, an economic disruption or a technological breakthrough. But what happens when we pull the camera back and look at the larger pattern?
What might be driving these rapid changes?

Is Something Awakening?

Dr. Heather Ensworth offers another intriguing possibility. She describes the galactic center—the region surrounding the massive black hole at the heart of our Milky Way—as a kind of cosmic womb or “second sun,” and says it began reactivating in 2024 after thousands of years of relative inactivity. In her model, the energies associated with this larger cosmic cycle affect not only the Earth, but human consciousness as well.

She also describes another threshold beginning in March 2025, associated with humanity's movement out of the Kali Yuga and toward a new Golden Age. Rather than describing a single instantaneous event, she sees this as an unfolding transition.

It was an interesting discussion, and you can watch it here:

At the same time, many people have commented that our own Sun seems different—brighter, whiter and somehow more intense than they remember it. White light contains the visible spectrum of colors, each corresponding to different wavelengths and frequencies. These new frequencies seem to be having an effect on our physiology, and our consciousness.
Whether the change we perceive are occurring from our sun, a central sun, within ourselves—or some combination—the perception itself is interesting. People are noticing that something has changed.

And just today, 9/11/26... Sun news: Another massive eruption in the sun’s northwest

For centuries, spiritual and prophetic traditions have spoken of an awakening, illumination, a great change, or a transition from one age into another. Different cultures gave it different names and described it through different symbols.

Could this be the beginning of “the event” so many traditions attempted to describe?

David Wilcock had talked about a coming cosmic event—a solar flash that seems to occur at the end of one cycle or the beginning of another. In his opinion, mankind has shifted enough to avoid a cataclysmic reset event. I tend to agree.

There is another synchronicity much closer to home. The idea that eventually became Prepare for Change began during a ritual at the Great Pyramid in Egypt on December 21, 2012—the date widely popularized as the Mayan prediction for the “end of the world.” But the world didn't end. A great calendar cycle did.

2012 — A cycle ends, and the idea for Prepare for Change begins.
2024 — Ensworth places the beginning of the galactic center's reactivation.
2025 — She describes another threshold in humanity's movement toward an ascending cycle of consciousness.
2026 — The convergence appears to be accelerating.

Perhaps we were looking at it backward. What appeared to be an ending may also have marked a beginning—the transition into a new era.

If nothing can stop what's coming, and where we go one, we go all, then a major shift from where we've been to where we could be going starts with each one of us. A leap in consciousness may also require a leap of faith—which we are also seeing rise in society.

And what about the near future?

Looking Up — Literally and Figuratively

2027 is already shaping up to be another significant year. Our attention will increasingly turn toward space, with major missions and new technologies expanding humanity's reach beyond Earth. NASA's Artemis III mission is scheduled for 2027, testing systems needed for the return of humans to the Moon and the missions that will follow.

But perhaps our exploration shouldn't only be directed outward.

As Dr. Rebecca Hardcastle Wright recently pointed out, the growing study of UFO/UAPs has become increasingly focused on technology, data collection, national security and threat preparedness. She argues that the missing piece is often human consciousness—the experiences of the people reporting contact and the possibility that consciousness itself may play a role in how we interact with non-human intelligence.

Rather than choosing one approach over the other, she advocates studying the physical phenomenon and consciousness in tandem.

You can read or listen to her talk here: Exoconscious Human Meaning to Preparedness for a 911 ET Emergency: How Did We Get Here?

That seems particularly important as we move farther into space. Perhaps understanding what is out there will also require us to better understand what is within us.

In 2027, we may have more reasons than ever to look up—literally and figuratively.

Since 2013, this channel has been saying, Prepare for Change.  Now it's time to live the change we want to see in the world!
